Powder River Basin Resource Council will facilitate environmental conversations at its next Green Drinks event Tuesday.
Starting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Welcome Market Hall, attendees will discuss the Sheridan County Planning and Zoning Commission’s recent approval to move forward with creating a new zoning district in the Acme area to facilitate commercial and industrial development.
“This could threaten the community’s quality of life and ability to recreate in the beautiful area along the river,” PRBRC’s Claire Deuter wrote in a press release. “We can talk over drinks about our concerns and how we can organize friends and neighbors to be active in the process.”
The event is free and open to the public. Welcome Market Hall is located at 841 Broadway St.
