The Russian Defense Ministry on Saturday afternoon announced an “attempt to deliver a terrorist strike on the Crimean Bridge” with an S-200 anti-aircraft guided missile converted into a strike version. The Ukrainian missile was intercepted by air defense forces, there were no damages or casualties, the agency points out. After the second missile attack reported by Aksyonov, the Ministry of Defense issued another statement about the downed S-200 missile.

On Saturday, eyewitnesses posted photos showing smoke over the Crimean bridge. As the adviser to the head of the peninsula, Oleg Kryuchkov, specified , the special services put a smoke screen on the bridge. Traffic on the bridge, stopped at about 12:30 p.m., will resume in the near future, Kryuchkov added.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that 20 Ukrainian drones attacked Crimea last night. Fourteen drones were destroyed by air defense systems, another six by electronic warfare. As a result of the attack, no one was injured, there was no damage, the department said.
